Dairy-free Wine Cake

- BLEND: shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 Tbsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- IN SEPARATE BOWL COMBINE: shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 2 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup sherry wine shopping list
- GLAZE: shopping list
- 2 cups C&H powdered sugar (not generic-it has a different flavor) shopping list
- 1-2 Tbsp water to desired thickness shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- beat wet ingredients and sugar on low speed for 30 sec
- add dry ingredients and beat on medium speed for 2 minutes
- pour into greased 9 inch round or 8x8 inch square pan
- bake for 25 to 30 min or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean
- once cooled, remove from pan and pour glaze over cake
