Fall Barbecued Brisket

- ½ Cup worcestershire sauce shopping list
- ½ Cup brown sugar shopping list
- ½ Cup vinegar shopping list
- ½ Cup water shopping list
- ½ Teaspoon chili powder shopping list
- ½ Cup tomato sauce shopping list
- 4 bay leaves shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- 5-6 pound lean Brisket (or 2 small ones) shopping list
- Italian Spices: shopping list
- garlic powder shopping list
- basil shopping list
- oregano shopping list
- parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Boil brisket covered with water, add your favorite Italian spices (I use garlic powder, basil, oregano, bay leaves, parsley, salt and pepper).
- Boil all together for 2 hours.
- Sauce: Mix together the Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, water, chili powder and tomato sauce.
- Boil till thick.
- Cook the cooked brisket VERY SLOWLY over low heat.
- Baste often with sauce. Slice thin against grain.
