Ingredients
  • ½ Cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • ½ Cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ Cup Vinegar
  • ½ Cup Water
  • ½ Teaspoon Chili Powder
  • ½ Cup Tomato Sauce
  • 4 Bay Leaves
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 5-6 pound lean Brisket (or 2 small ones)
  • Italian Spices:
  • Garlic Powder
  • Basil
  • Oregano
  • Parsley

Directions
  1. Boil brisket covered with water, add your favorite Italian spices (I use garlic powder, basil, oregano, bay leaves, parsley, salt and pepper).
  2. Boil all together for 2 hours.
  3. Sauce: Mix together the Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, water, chili powder and tomato sauce.
  4. Boil till thick.
  5. Cook the cooked brisket VERY SLOWLY over low heat.
  6. Baste often with sauce. Slice thin against grain.
