How to make it

  • Boil brisket covered with water, add your favorite Italian spices (I use garlic powder, basil, oregano, bay leaves, parsley, salt and pepper).
  • Boil all together for 2 hours.
  • Sauce: Mix together the Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, water, chili powder and tomato sauce.
  • Boil till thick.
  • Cook the cooked brisket VERY SLOWLY over low heat.
  • Baste often with sauce. Slice thin against grain.
