This is a yummy glaze/marinade i made up when i had people coming round and wanted to do something with some lamb chops i had. Nothing was measured so make it up as u go along according to your preferred tastes.

Oh. My. Goodness. I have been looking for a recipe that would mimic the Mint Glazed Lamb chops I used to buy in Ireland and I have FINALLY found it here. I made it tonight and it was fantastic! I used a mint sauce recipe I googled and fed a very happy family - thank you! *contented sigh*
mint sauce recipe:
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup minced mint leaves (I used dried mint from my garden)
Put the vinegar and sugar in a small pan. Heat until it boils and the sugar dissolves. Pour the hot sauce over the mint and let stand at least 1 hour.
