German Chocolate Pie Recipe

How to make it

  • Melt chocolate with butter in a small pan and let cool.
  • Mix sugar, vanilla, flour, pecans, salt and eggs then combine with chocolate mixture.
  • Pour into greased pie plate and bake at 350 for 30 minutes then allow to cool.

    I just attended a friends Oktoberfest where they ask everyone to bring a German dish. I tried this recipe.........let me tell you, everyone was going around talking about the German Chocolate Pie, asking if you had tried it yet. It was a hit. Thanks!!!
