This is a McCormicks recipe that I found at the grocery store. It turned out really well and is quick

Ingredients
  • 1 Pkg McCormick's brown gravy mix
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
  • 1 lb boneless beef sirloin or flank steak, cut into this strips
  • 1 small onion, cut in half lengthwise and thinly sliced
  • 1 medium green pepper or red bell pepper (or half each) thinly sliced
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper

Directions
  1. Stir gravy mix, water, soyce sauce and red pepper in a small bowl until well blended.
  2. Salt & (black )pepper steak to taste.
  3. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat.
  4. Add steak, onions, peppers & cook 5 to 10 minutes or until no longer pink.
  5. Stir in gravy mixture.
  6. Bring to boil.
  7. reduce heat and simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until sauce is thickened, stirring occasionally.
  8. Serve over rice.
  9. You can substitute 1 pkg (16 oz) frozen pepper stir fry vegetables for onion and bell pepper.
