Blue Cheese Canapes

- 1 pound crumbled blue cheese shopping list
- 1 cup toasted walnuts shopping list
- 1/4 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground white pepper shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 1 cup thinly-sliced white onions shopping list
- 1 cup julienned granny smith apples shopping list
- 3 teaspoons rice wine vinegar shopping list
- 24 French bread rounds toasted shopping list
- fresh parsley for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- In food processor fitted with metal blade combine cheese, walnuts and cream.
- Puree until smooth and season with salt and pepper.
- In small sauté pan over medium heat add oil.
- When oil is hot add onions and apples and sauté until caramelized.
- Remove from heat and stir in vinegar.
- Spread heaping spoonful of cheese mixture over each toasted round.
- Garnish with small pile of apple onion mixture and parsley.
