Chili TD

- lean ground beef -4lbs shopping list
- ground turkey -3lbs shopping list
- Bush's baked beans - large can (optional) shopping list
- tomato paste - 2 cans shopping list
- Minced garlic - 1 cup shopping list
- 1 24 oz Bottle of Fat Tire beer shopping list
- Chopped onions - 1 - 2 cups shopping list
- Chopped jalapenos - 1 cup shopping list
- Chopped Red or yellow peppers - 1-2 cups shopping list
- brown sugar - 1 packed cup shopping list
- honey 1 cup shopping list
- cayene pepper - 1 tblsp shopping list
- liquid smoke - 1 tblsp shopping list
- chili powder - 1/4 - 1/2 cup shopping list
- ground cumin - 1/4 - 1/2 cup shopping list
- corn starch - 1/4 cup (if necessary) shopping list
How to make it
- Get a big pot (stock pot or stew pot)
- Brown the meat in a seperate fry pan or wok
- While meat is cooking, open 2 cans of tomato paste and put into big pot with beer, liquid smoke and honey.
- When meat is all cooked and loose, drain (some) grease and dump into the pot and mix with ingredients. Leave some grease aside for cooking the veggies.
- Use the same fry pan with some of the grease and start with cooking the onions and garlic. When the onions have carmelized, dump into pot.
- Cook all the peppers in the pan until they soften and dump into the pot.
- Add all of the remaining ingredients and stir to ensure consistency. Keep heat on low.
- If it is too water (which is unlikely) SIFT in some corn starch.
- **Chili is ALWAYS better the next day, BUT this is so good that it will be pretty awesome once all of the ingredients are added.
