Easy Fillet Mignon

- 4 beef tenderloins cut 2 inches thick trimmed shopping list
- seasoned salt shopping list
- black pepper shopping list
- 2 Tbs worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 Tbs soy sauce shopping list
- 1/2 stick of unsalted butter (4Tbs) shopping list
- 1/4 cup cooking sherry shopping list
- 1 small can of sliced button mushrooms drained shopping list
- 2 tsp corn starch shopping list
How to make it
- Generously rub the stakes on all sides with the seasoned salt and black pepper then place in a large plastic bag with the worcestershire sauce and soy sauce and marinate turning frequently for at least 3hrs.
- Grill the stakes till done as desired, about 7 minutes on each side for medium (well done is NOT recommended).
- SAUCE:
- In a small saucepan over low to med heat, add the butter till melted, add 1 Tbs of marinade, wine and mushrooms and heat for about 1 minute, add corn starch and stirr frequently untill well disolved and sauce has thickened.
- Spoon mushroom sauce over stakes and dig in.
