Easy Fillet Mignon Recipe
A very easy to make stake. The flavor will knock your socks off.

Ingredients
  • 4 Beef tenderloins cut 2 inches thick trimmed
  • Seasoned salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbs Soy sauce
  • 1/2 stick of unsalted butter (4Tbs)
  • 1/4 cup cooking sherry
  • 1 small can of sliced button mushrooms drained
  • 2 tsp corn starch

Directions
  1. Generously rub the stakes on all sides with the seasoned salt and black pepper then place in a large plastic bag with the worcestershire sauce and soy sauce and marinate turning frequently for at least 3hrs.
  2. Grill the stakes till done as desired, about 7 minutes on each side for medium (well done is NOT recommended).
  3. SAUCE:
  4. In a small saucepan over low to med heat, add the butter till melted, add 1 Tbs of marinade, wine and mushrooms and heat for about 1 minute, add corn starch and stirr frequently untill well disolved and sauce has thickened.
  5. Spoon mushroom sauce over stakes and dig in.
