Use this Italian Sauce on all your parmesan,lasagna,stuffed shells,eggplant and pasta recipes.

Ingredients
  • 2 Tbs Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 large clove Garlic
  • 35 oz. Can Italian Tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp fresh oregano
  • 1/2 tsp fresh thyme
  • Salt and Freshly ground pepper

Directions
  1. Heat oil in skillet, put garlic through press and coarsley chop the onion,add both to pan Saute over medium heat till onion is clear
  2. With your fingers break up the italian tomatoes and add to pan with the liquid, discard the bay leaf.
  3. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes
