Kotlet Mielony is the true name of these football shaped meatballs grandma made for Sunday dinners. great with boiled potaoes w/ butter and parsley and cukes with sour cream dill and chives.

Ingredients
  • 2 dry rolls
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 2 large yellow onions chopped finely
  • 3 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tbls. oil

Directions
  1. Soak the dry rolls in milk or water
  2. squeeze out excess moisture
  3. combine meats, rolls onions, garlic and spices
  4. mix well and shape into little footballs
  5. roll in bread crumbs
  6. Fry in oil until cooked through
