How to make it

  • Prepare instant white rice,then set aside.
  • Slice semi-frozen beef into very small bite size slivers or chunks.(Semi-frozen meat cuts much easier and the knife does not shred it the way it would room temp meat.)
  • In hot skillet,add oil and garlic powder,add meat:cook over medium flame,stirring often.Cook until browned,turning flame to low.
  • Drain water chestnuts and steam frozen vegies in the microwave.(5-7 min.covered)
  • Add tomato soup,vinegar and soy sauce to meat mixture,turning flame up,then saute for approx 5-7 min.The sauce will go from red to a very rich brown.Add steamed vegies/chestnuts and cook for approx 10 more minutes.Serve over white rice.
