These are so colorful and pretty, pastel colors would be pretty for Easter. Enjoy Prep time does not include time for chilling dough nor baking.

Ingredients
  • 1 C soft butter
  • 3/4 C white sugar
  • 3/4 C brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 C flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Food coloring

Directions
  1. Mix butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
  2. Blend flour, baking soda, and salt in separate bowl then add to first mixture.
  3. Divide dough into 4 parts and add a different food color to each part.
  4. Roll each color of dough into a strip about 4" wide and 1/4"
  5. thick. Stack the strips of dough together. Wrap the dough in
  6. wax paper and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Slice the layer dough in 1/4" slices, gently curve the slice to make a rainbow arch.
  8. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet in 375° oven for about 7 minutes.
