Chocolate A La Taza Recipe
This makes 4 demitasse servings. I got this from a newspaper clipping and it is oh so good! Biscotti goes well with this.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions
  1. In a sauce pan, heat the milk and cream over medium-low heat until very hot but not boiling.
  2. Grandulaly add the chocolate, stirring with a wooden spoon until melted and smooth.
  3. Dissolve the cornstarch in a tablespoon of water and the vanilla and add to the chocolate mixture, stirring constantly until it is almost as thick as pudding. Serve immediately.
