Chocolate A La Taza Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup whole milk

1/2 cup whipping cream

8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

1 tsp. cornstarch

1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

In a sauce pan, heat the milk and cream over medium-low heat until very hot but not boiling.

Grandulaly add the chocolate, stirring with a wooden spoon until melted and smooth.

Dissolve the cornstarch in a tablespoon of water and the vanilla and add to the chocolate mixture, stirring constantly until it is almost as thick as pudding. Serve immediately.
