Chinese Noodle Salad Pea Salad

- Dressing: shopping list
- 1/2 cup mayonaise (not Miracle Whip) shopping list
- 2-3 tsp. fresh ginger root, peeled and grated. shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard shopping list
- 1 tsp. soy sauce shopping list
- Salad: shopping list
- 1- 8 oz. can water chestnuts, chopped shopping list
- 4 sliced green onions shopping list
- 1 stalk thinly sliced celery shopping list
- 1- 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas - thawed and drained shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 1 - 5 oz. can crisp chinese noodles. shopping list
How to make it
- When mixing the dressing, make sure that the ginger root is very finely grated. Mix all ingredients together.
- Place salad ingredients in a bowl and mix with dressing, cover and chill for several hours.
- When ready to serve, toss in Chinese noodles or use like croutons on each plate.
