How to make it

  • Put the chocolate chips, butter, vanilla and nuts in a medium sized bowl.
  • Bring to a boil the evaporated milk, sugar, and marshmellows stirring constantly over low heat. Boil for 8 minutes.
  • Pour boiled mixture over the mixture in the bowl and stir until melted. Pour into a prepared pan and place in refrigerator to harden.

    I think this is the recipe my mother used to have and made when I was a child. Thanks for posting! It's great because you don't have to cook to a certain temperature, just a certain time. I don't know about the amounts, but I know the ingredients are the same. I have looked for this recipe for years!
