How to make it

  • Put the cactus in a colinder, rinse and let drain.
  • Sautee onion. Add tomato,garlic, salt, cumin, oregano.Fry for about three to five minutes.
  • Add cactus and fry for about ten muinutes.
  • Serve immediately.

    This is an excellent side dish. I served it with scrambled eggs for breakfast. Thanks for sharing it. I'd love to read other recipes that include cactus.
