How to make it

  • cut onion into thin slices and separate rings
  • mix together broth, garlic, worchestershire, salt , pepper and cornstarch
  • melt butter in 12" fry pan and saute the onion till transluscent
  • remove onions from pan leaving the drippings
  • brown round steak strips in the drippings then add the onions and and broth mixture
  • heat on medium until bubbly
  • Serve on Hamburger buns with whichever white cheese you like (I use swiss)
  • I like to lightly toast the buns and melt the cheese on them

    Super Supper, love the onion! great sandwich, I like the suggestion to toast the bun and melt the cheese. (I think I'll use pepper jack cheese on mine and mozzarella for the hubby)
