Beef N Onion Sandiwches Recipe

Ingredients

1 Lb round steak cut into VERY thin strips

1 medium Purple Onion

2-3 Tbsp BUTTER

1 1/3 cup Beef broth (canned is ok)

1/8 to 1/4 tsp garlic powder

2-3 tbsp cornstarch

several dashes of worchestershire 1/2tsp+

Salt n Pepper to Taste

Hamburger buns

White Cheese

Directions

cut onion into thin slices and separate rings

mix together broth, garlic, worchestershire, salt , pepper and cornstarch

melt butter in 12" fry pan and saute the onion till transluscent

remove onions from pan leaving the drippings

brown round steak strips in the drippings then add the onions and and broth mixture

heat on medium until bubbly

Serve on Hamburger buns with whichever white cheese you like (I use swiss)

I like to lightly toast the buns and melt the cheese on them

Super Supper, love the onion! great sandwich, I like the suggestion to toast the bun and melt the cheese. (I think I'll use pepper jack cheese on mine and mozzarella for the hubby)
