Citrus Ginger Strip Steaks Recipe
A favorite around here. Nice way to flavor up a steak. Prep time does not include marinading for 8 hours or overnight.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/8 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried chives
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp orange peel, freshly grated
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 garlic clove
  • 4 New York strip steak or filet

Directions
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together all ingredients except steak until well combined.
  2. Combine 1 cup marinade and steaks in an airtight container and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
  3. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade.
  4. Preheat grill to medium.
  5. Remove beef from marinade and grill 10 to 12 minutes each side or until beef reaches desired doneness.
  6. Baste meat frequently with the reserved marinade for maximum flavor.
