Ingredients

How to make it

  • In medium size bowl, mix all ingredients except the tofu.
  • You have to be the judge of this recipe and taste as you go...this is the best advice I can give you. The vinegar and lemon juice give it tang, so use them sparingly. I start out with little splashes (like a teaspoon at a time of each!) and just taste until I achieve the taste I want.
  • Mix until it's a nice, smooth consistency.
  • Crumble tofu. (this will be the "lumps" in your blue cheese dressing!)
  • Add to your dressing mixture.
  • Serve with vegetarian "chicken nuggets" like Boca or Morningstar....with a little hot sauce and barbecue sauce to dip as well. YUMMY!
  • Great on salads, too!
  • Really tastes like Blue cheese dressing/dip!! Will be your new favorite.
  • ENJOY!

Seriously, Dlayton66, you are clearly delusional about GMOs, and are obviously buying into the GMO 'feeding the world' spiel. Maybe you need to read some more information...

JWin, GMOs are an incredibly beneficial technology with the potential to save billions of lives and dramatically improve nourishment in parts of the world where that is lacking. You are likely misinformed about their safety. All GMOs currently on the market have been tested extensively over decades, and scientific consensus on existing GMOs being safe is overwhelming. By spreading anti-GMO sentiment, it becomes less likely that GM technology receives the funding and legislation it needs to thrive, which, in a very real and direct way, leads to people dying. Let's not do things that lead to people dying. Thank you.

Please ???? don't suggest using Morningstar brand meat substitutes. Morningstar is owned by Kellogg- one of the largest sellers of GMO products containing corn and soybeans. Remember...if it is not ORGANIC...it's GMO unless clearly stated on package. Trader Joes brands claims that they use no GMO products, but it is not stated on packages. It is in the company info. Thank you.

Hmmm....I am very interested in this recipe, but....apparently the tahini is optional, as is the tofu...? That leaves 99.9% mayo with a dash of garlic powder, lemon juice and vinegar (which is already in the veganaise.) I guess I'm just a little skeptical. :-)

I was also a little skeptical before making this, but it's delicious! We had it with buffalo tempeh wings for Super Bowl Sunday. We'll definitely be making this in the future!

Oh my goodness, this was GOOD! I have been vegan for a little over a year. I made vegan buffalo wings for the first time today and what are wings without blue cheese, right? Admittedly, I was skeptical, but it was REALLY good! The only thing is that I omitted the tofu just because I did not have any thawed and it did not seem to make a difference. I bet an omnivore would be hard pressed to tell the difference! Thank you for sharing!!
