How to make it

  • cake:beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy
  • add yolks and ess
  • add dry ingred and milk
  • filling:beat egg whites till stiff
  • add icing sugar and coconut
  • pour 2/3 of cake batter into greased tin
  • add coconut filling
  • top with remaining batter
  • bake at 180 degrees
  • cool and ice with chocolate icing or dust with icing sugar

    this is from one of my recipe books and also hubbys favourite,he prefers it without the cocoa.
