Lime Chiffon Pie Recipe
I made this for Christmas and everyone gobbled it up. I took it from my Kraft "What's Cooking" Magazine. A good choice for after a heavy meal.

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup boiling water
  • 1 pkg Light Lime Jello
  • ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • juice and grated peel of lime
  • 1 cup thawed Light Cool Whip topping
  • 1 1/4 cup Honey Maid Graham Crumbs (or premade crust)
  • 2 tbsp soften margarine

Directions
  1. Stir the boiling water into dry jelly powder in a large bowl for at least 2 minutes.
  2. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1 cup.
  3. Add to jelly mix; stir until the ice is completely melted.
  4. Stir in the lime peel and juice; add the whipped topping and stir with a wire whisk.
  5. Refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes or until mixture will mound.
  6. If not using pre-made crust, mix crumbs and margarine into a 9 inch pie plate. Press into the bottom and up the sides to form crust.
  7. Fill with the jelly mix.
  8. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
