Great toffee for Christmas gifts.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 c pecans, chopped
  • 3/4 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1/2 c chocolate chips

Directions
  1. Butter 9x9x2 pan.
  2. Spread pecans in pan.
  3. Heat sugar and butter to boiling over medium low heat, stirring constantly, for 7 min.
  4. Immediately spread mixture evenly over nuts in pan.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot mixture.
  6. Place baking sheet over pan so chocolate will melt.
  7. Spread melted chocolate over candy.
  8. Cut while hot.
  9. Chill until firm.
