  • Passion Fruit Sauce
  • 1/2
  • cup
  • Passion Fruit pulp (seeds strained if desired) about 6 needed
  • 1/2
  • cup
  • Sugar
  • 2
  • tablespoons
  • Cornstarch
  • 1/2
  • cup
  • Water
  • 1
  • Egg Yolk
  • 1
  • tablespoon
  • Butter or Margarine

Directions
  1. Combine sugar and cornstarch in 1 quart sauce pan, stir in passion fruit pulp and water.
  2. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly for about 30 seconds.
  3. Beat 1/4 cup of passion fruit mixture with egg yolk, then combine yolk with remainder of the fruit mixture.
  4. Add butter and continue to cook until well blended and thickened.
