How to make it

  • Combine sugar and cornstarch in 1 quart sauce pan, stir in passion fruit pulp and water.
  • Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly for about 30 seconds.
  • Beat 1/4 cup of passion fruit mixture with egg yolk, then combine yolk with remainder of the fruit mixture.
  • Add butter and continue to cook until well blended and thickened.
