Peach Filled Sponge Recipe

this cake does not need to have a filling because its baked with it

Ingredients
- sponge:250g butter,softened
- 2 cups castor sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 1/2 cup self raising flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- filling:1 tin can peaches
- peach jam
- icing sugar for dusting or make syrup tp our over cake
Directions
- cream butter and sugar
- add eggs
- sift flour
- add milk to make batter
- pour half batter into a greased round tin
- put peach slices and brush with jam
- pour rest of batter
- bake at 180 degrees til golden
- remove,cool,dust with icing sugar or pour syrup(dnt pour alot as this is a sponge cake and will absorb alot)
