Chunky tomato soup

- 2T. real butter shopping list
- 2T. onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 garlic clove, chopped shopping list
- 4T. flour shopping list
- 2t. sugar shopping list
- 1t. salt shopping list
- 1/2 t. pepper shopping list
- 1can (14.5oz) Italian diced tomatoes shopping list
- 11/2 c. tomato juice shopping list
- 2c. milk shopping list
How to make it
- Saute onion and garlic in butter.
- Blend flour, sugar, salt and pepper in butter mixture.
- Remove from heat and stir in tomato juice. Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
- Stir hot tomato mixture slowly into cold milk. Heat almost to a boil and serve.
