Stovetop Jambalaya

- 1 1/2 lbs sausage (hot italian is what I use) shopping list
- 2 28 oz tins diced tomatoes shopping list
- 2 cups frozen peas shopping list
- 2 cups frozen corn shopping list
- 28 oz water shopping list
- 1/4 cup One-step cajun seasoning shopping list
- 1 to 1 1/2 tins (use the tomato tins) uncooked white rice (I use basmati) shopping list
How to make it
- Slice the sausage into 1" rounds.
- Bring tomatoes, sausage, peas and corn to a boil and cook until sausage is partially done.
- Add seasoning and stir to mix thorougly.
- Add rice, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30-35 minutes.
- Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Serve hot with hot pepper sauce to season to taste.
