White Chocolate-Orange Mousse Ice Cream Recipe
I discovered this by accident, experimenting in trying to make something else. It's absolutely delicious, and so worth it. :o)

Ingredients
  • 1 1/3 cup half-n-half
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • Pinch salt
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons orange extract
  • 3 teaspoons orange zest

Directions
  1. Heat half-n-half in a small pan over moderate heat until it comes to a boil.
  2. In blender or food processor combine egg, sugar, orange zest, white chocolate chips, and extract.
  3. Run processor or turn on blender to low setting. Pour in boiling milk in a slow stream. (The hot half-n-half will cook egg and melt chocolate.)
  4. Process or blend 1 minute, until smooth. Place in a freezer-safe container and leave until ready to serve, at least 6 hours.
