How to make it

  • For the banana bread:
  • Heat oven to 350.
  • Grease and flour 9x5x3 loaf pan.
  • Measure all ingredients into large mixer bowl; beat on medium speed 1/2 minute,
  • scraping side and bottom of bowl.
  • Pour into pan.
  • Bake 55-65 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean.
  • Remove from pan.
  • Cool before slicing.
  • Slice bread into 12-14 slices. Don't use the ends.
  • The griddle works great for a big crowd.
  • For the french toast dipping and cooking:
  • Just dip like any other french toast. Griddle till done.
  • For a big crowd, make them ahead of time; put them in the oven (325F) in foil.
  • For the carmel sauce:
  • Combine butter, cream, and sugar in saucepan.
  • Bring to boil over medium heat, stir to mix well; reduce heat.
  • Cook for 5 minutes, do not stir, set aside.
  • Yields 1 1/4 cups
  • Serve with fresh fruit, powdered sugar, or whipped cream of your choice; sprinkle with cinnamon...
