Swedish Nuts

- 2 egg whites shopping list
- 1 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1 pinch salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (pure) shopping list
- 1 pound of fresh pecan halves shopping list
- 1/2 cup of butter (not margarine) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Beat egg whites until soft peaks form
- Add sugar, salt and vanilla
- Beat until stiff peaks form and turn glossy
- Fold in nuts and coat well with the egg white mixture
- Melt butter in a 9x13 baking pan by placing it in the oven
- Spread coated nuts evenly within butter in pan
- Bake for 30 minutes...stirring and turning nuts about every 8 minutes
- Place hot nuts on foil and allow to cool
- Take a trip to Heaven while munching on these. :)
