Tomato Jam

- 4 and 1/2 pounds ripe tomatoes,peeled(pour almost boiling water over tomatoes,roll them around then take out,the skin should come right off) shopping list
- 4 and1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 Tablesp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1 and1/2 cup vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 teasp. allspice shopping list
- 1 teasp. cloves shopping list
How to make it
- Scald and peel tomatoes,then quarter them,Place in cooking pot and add sugar,vinegar and spices.Cook Slowly till thickenened,watch as not ot scorch.Put up in canning jars.Place in hot water bath,Take out check for seal,when cool.
