How to make it

  • Scald and peel tomatoes,then quarter them,Place in cooking pot and add sugar,vinegar and spices.Cook Slowly till thickenened,watch as not ot scorch.Put up in canning jars.Place in hot water bath,Take out check for seal,when cool.
  • Note:

    This sounds delicious! Can't wait to try when good local tomatoes come in this summer. Don't want to ruin it with cardboard grocery store tomatoes!
