My family always insist that I make this at every family get together. It is a big hit! This is a dish people will eat while the main course is still cooking. Keep this cool or it gets runny & the lettuce will wilt. Read more I usually make this only a few hours before the dinner. The fresher, the better. See less
Ingredients
- 1 large can of traditional refried beans shopping list
- 1 large container of sour cream (2 cups) shopping list
- 1 cup of Miracle Whip shopping list
- 1 packet of powder taco seasoning shopping list
- 2 bags of shredded cheddar cheese (more/less, however you like it) shopping list
- 1 head of lettuce-chopped (as much as you want) shopping list
- 1 can of black olives-sliced shopping list
- 2-3 medium tomatoes (more/less, however much you like)-diced up shopping list
How to make it
- Mix sour cream, miracle whip & taco seasoning in a bowl until well blended.-Set aside
- Spread entire can of refried beans into a large cake pan.
- Spread 1/3 of the sour cream mixture on top of the refried beans
- Then top with 1/2 of the cheese.
- Next add a layer of Lettuce.
- Place tomatoes on top of lettuce.
- Cover tomatoes with remaining mix.-spread out evenly
- Now place remaining cheese on top of mix.
- Finally spread black olives out on the top.
- Enjoy with Nacho Chips!
