How to make it

  • Sprinkle brisket with celery salt (go easy on the salt)
  • Sprinkle liquid smoke over brisket
  • Add a little water and Dr pepper to pan with the brisket
  • Cove the large roasting pan tightly with foil
  • Bake in a slow oven about 300 degrees for about 3 to 4 hours
  • Remove and Cool
  • Place in Ref.
  • Next day remove brisket ,and cut away all the fat,and that stuff that is in the meduim of the flap
  • Cut thin slices and lay back into pan with the liquid that has formed in the roasting of the brisket,minus the fat that was on top
  • Pour your favorite home made or store boughten,Bar-B Q Sauce over the brisket the whole bottle.
  • Cover again tightly with foil and can roast slowly for another 2 or more hours until the sauce startes to caramelize
  • Or you can put the brisket in the freezer and have it ready for next time ,then bake it the next time.
