- one brisket shopping list
- celery salt shopping list
- liquid smoke shopping list
- favorite Bar-B-Q sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Sprinkle brisket with celery salt (go easy on the salt)
- Sprinkle liquid smoke over brisket
- Add a little water and Dr pepper to pan with the brisket
- Cove the large roasting pan tightly with foil
- Bake in a slow oven about 300 degrees for about 3 to 4 hours
- Remove and Cool
- Place in Ref.
- Next day remove brisket ,and cut away all the fat,and that stuff that is in the meduim of the flap
- Cut thin slices and lay back into pan with the liquid that has formed in the roasting of the brisket,minus the fat that was on top
- Pour your favorite home made or store boughten,Bar-B Q Sauce over the brisket the whole bottle.
- Cover again tightly with foil and can roast slowly for another 2 or more hours until the sauce startes to caramelize
- Or you can put the brisket in the freezer and have it ready for next time ,then bake it the next time.
