Raisins And Gravy Recipe

How to make it

  • Mix as a cake the butter, sugar, flour, soda, nutmeg and salt
  • Add nuts, raisins, vanilla and milk
  • Pour into lightly greased 9x9 square pan
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar over batter in pan, dot the remaining butter on mixture and pour boiling water over all.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 30 min.
  • Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
  • Yummy but very rich!
