How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 230C (450F)
  • Peel and cut those beautiful apples into 8 pieces. Set aside
  • Mix the butter and the sugar until well combined
  • Add the 8 yolks, ground almond, flour,milk and a pinch of salt
  • Add a pinch of salt into egg whites and beat until frothy then fold in gently the eggs mixture using a spatula
  • Grease the mold. Pour in the mixture and top with the apples (try pressing them into the mixtures)
  • Top with the crushed almonds and bake for 35 - 45 mins or until skewer comes out clean when inserted into the center of the cake.
  • Serve either warm or cold, Enjoy : )
