Ingredients
  • 4 apples ( avoid green apple )
  • 160g soften butter
  • 100g all purpose flour
  • 160g sugar
  • 100g ground almonds
  • 6 eggs ( separate white + yolks)
  • 2 yolks
  • 20 cl milk
  • 50g roughly chopped/crushed almonds
  • a bit of salt

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 230C (450F)
  2. Peel and cut those beautiful apples into 8 pieces. Set aside
  3. Mix the butter and the sugar until well combined
  4. Add the 8 yolks, ground almond, flour,milk and a pinch of salt
  5. Add a pinch of salt into egg whites and beat until frothy then fold in gently the eggs mixture using a spatula
  6. Grease the mold. Pour in the mixture and top with the apples (try pressing them into the mixtures)
  7. Top with the crushed almonds and bake for 35 - 45 mins or until skewer comes out clean when inserted into the center of the cake.
  8. Serve either warm or cold, Enjoy : )
