Popovers

- 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 Tbsp margarine or butter, melted shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup milk whole, skimmed or 2% shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400F, 180C, Gas Mark 5
- Grease 10 custard cups or muffin tin (do not use cupcake papers)
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl using electric mixrer
- Pour batter into cups or tin, filling them 1/2 full
- Bake for 35 minutes or until popovers are frim and golden
- You may add 4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled crisp bacon to the batter for a breakfast popover,

A friend of mine from PA says that she's made popovers for years for her family and they LOVE them. Says they are super simple easy to make. Okay, I'm convinced!! ;-)
