How to make it

  • With a rolling pin, flatten out the bread slices.
  • Spread each slice with a generous amount of cream cheese.
  • Roll tightly into cigar shape.
  • Wrap each cigar with a 1/2 slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  • Place on a foil lined cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350 degrees until bacon is crispy and bread is browned.
  • Cut in 1/2 and serve while warm.
  • For added interest, place an asparagus spear on the bread before rolling.
  • YUMMY!!!
