Mocha Cake Frosting Belgian Recipe
This frosting will not harden but remain fresh as the day you put it on the cake,no matter how long you keep the cake.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 Tablespoon of almond extract,pure
  • 1 and 1/2 Tablespoons real rum,not rum flavoring
  • 1 heaping teaspoon of powdered coffee
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cocoa
  • 2 teaspoon boiling water
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Whip the butter until creamy,add 1 cup of powdered sugar and the egg yolks.Beat about 5 minutes.Add the almond extract andd the real rum,Beat well.
  • Mix the cocoa and the powdered coffee in the boiling water,mix well
  • Add this to the other ingred. and beat well
  • Add the 1/2 cup powdered sugar and Beat well
  • The secret is in the beating of the frosting.
  • Frost your cake thickly with the frosting.
  • Enjoy
  • Note: Because of the egg yolks in this recipe I would suggest that you place what ever you frost it with ,in the refrigerator
