Ingredients
  • 9 fresh figs
  • ¼ c. port wine
  • ½ T honey
  • fresh red raspberries
  • ½ c. whipping cream, whipped with a little sugar

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Prick each fig with a fork in a few places; place in single layer standing on end in shallow baking dish.
  3. Pour port wine over.
  4. Bake, basting occasionally, until figs are puffed & tender, 25-30 min.
  5. Arrange 3 figs on serving dish. Spoon a little of the wine over and drizzle each serving with ½ tsp honey, or more to taste.
  6. Garnish with whipped cream and raspberries.
