Ingredients
  • Take a fresh bunch of celery.Clean the stalks,cut off the leaves and cut the stalks up into pieces about three inches long.
  • Take about a two quart bowl and fill it 3/4 full of water
  • Add 2 teaspoons of anise oil (or)anise liquid flavoring
  • Place the celery pieces in the anise water,making sure all of the celery pieces are covered by the liquid.
  • Leave the bowl set in your refrigerator for about 4 to 5 hours
  • The celery will absorb all the anise in this length of time and mix it with its own natural flavors and juices
  • Remove the celery and serve while chilled
  • Note: on first bite you will not know quite to think,because of the different taste,but after several bites,I beleive that you will like it.
