- Take a fresh bunch of celery.Clean the stalks,cut off the leaves and cut the stalks up into pieces about three inches long. shopping list
- Take about a two quart bowl and fill it 3/4 full of water shopping list
- Add 2 teaspoons of anise oil (or)anise liquid flavoring shopping list
- Place the celery pieces in the anise water,making sure all of the celery pieces are covered by the liquid. shopping list
- Leave the bowl set in your refrigerator for about 4 to 5 hours shopping list
- The celery will absorb all the anise in this length of time and mix it with its own natural flavors and juices shopping list
