Ingredients

3 cups fresh green beans cut into 2" lengths

2 cups fresh peas

6 small new potatoes scrubbed and quartered

1 small can evaporated milk

2 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Place green beans in covered pot with 2" water then cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.

Add potatoes and cook until potatoes are just done.

When vegetables are cooked add milk, butter, salt and pepper then heat thoroughly.
