This recipe has arrived in our family's Hall of Fame. It is has been a hit on multiple Sunday mornings when waking-up teens are looking for good food to fill their hollow legs. It is more substantial than egg-white waffles, so one waffle per person is lots, and it is all good food value. Just a touch of maple syrup (real of course) and some berries tops it beautifully.

As of today, I am writing it into my personal recipe book, along with my grandmother's Christmas cookie recipes and my Dutch neighbour's pork struedel.

This recipe is a keeper. Thank you for sharing it.
