How to make it

  • MIx almonds and sugar in small skillet
  • Cook over low heat in pan stirring constantly until sugar is melted and almonds are coated.
  • Cool and break apart
  • Tear salad greens into bite size pieces and place in a large plastic bag
  • Add chopped celery, green onions and mandarin oranges
  • Combine dressing ingredients in a tightly covered jar
  • Shake well and pour over greens in bag
  • Shake well again
  • Add almonds just before serving
