Southern Pecan Pralines Recipe

Ingredients

1 Box Brown Sugar (2 Cups)

1 Cup White Sugar

¼ Pound Butter or Oleo

2 Cups Broken Pecans

4 Tbs. White Corn Syrup

2/3 Cup Water

Pinch of Salt

1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

Directions

Combine all ingredients, except vanilla, in a heavy saucepan. Cook until syrup reaches the softball stage. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add vanilla and beat until it begins to thicken. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.

Let cool and enjoy!
