How to make it

  • Brown ground meat in large stock pot, drain if needed
  • add onion and peppers cook till slightly tender
  • add tomato juice and sauce warm through
  • add minute rice salt and pepper cook till rice is soft stirring often.
  • ( I cook the rice on the side if I don't plan on using all the soup that day, I put a spoon of rice on bottom of bowl and ladle soup over the rice. Any that is left over I store in individual containers so that the rice doesn't make the soup overly thick.)
