It's either a measure of how far I've come as a cook since 1994 or how far we've progressed as Americans that this book now looks simple, basic, and fairly easy! When I first started cooking I thought this book was so over the top and difficult that I reserved it for guests only use. WOW!

Julia really did start a revolution with her exquisite French basics, she took myself and an entire nation right along with her! And what a ride! This is a must have for anyones collection.
