How to make it

  • Mix the flour with the sugar and the butter and make a hole in the center of the preparation
  • Mix the milk with the eggs and reserve a little for the end and the rest, put it in the hole of the preparation
  • Mix everything (better with a fork) till you get a dough, and don't knead it!
  • Stretch the dough and cut circles with a sharp circle cutter (or a tiny glass or cup) and put them in a buttered and floured metal plate
  • Use the reserved mix of egg and milk to paint the scons and then put them into the oven to bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Be carefull not to burn them.
  • Leave them at room temperature for a while and serve them with a nice cup of tea or coffee.
