Almost time for the lettuce and onions to come in. I have eaten this since I was a little thing. I love it! I know, that fatback is bad for me but, yummy!

Ingredients
- 1 head lettuce leaves, cut into pieces
- 3 bunches green onions,chopped
- fatback grease,about 4 or 5 pieces of fatback
Directions
- Fry fatback in a skillet. Reserve grease.Set fatback aside.
- In a large bowl, cut lettuce into pieces. Add chopped onions.
- Pour fatback grease over lettuce and onions. Mix well.
- My grandpa always broke the fatback into pieces on his salad.
