Ingredients

1 head lettuce leaves, cut into pieces

3 bunches green onions,chopped

fatback grease,about 4 or 5 pieces of fatback

Directions

Fry fatback in a skillet. Reserve grease.Set fatback aside.

In a large bowl, cut lettuce into pieces. Add chopped onions.

Pour fatback grease over lettuce and onions. Mix well.

My grandpa always broke the fatback into pieces on his salad.
