How to make it

  • When using the fresh okra cut off the stems
  • wash and dry the okra on a towel
  • Fry the garlic
  • Add the okra and slowly stir fry it
  • Add 1 Tsp lemon(so the ocra will not become dark and sticky)
  • Add the fresh tomatoes
  • Add the tomatoe paste
  • Add the lemon juice
  • Pour half a cup of water over the okra and allow boiling over slow heat for half an hour without stiring
  • leave till the okra becomes tender.
  • Add the fresh coriander boil for few minutes
  • Leave to cool and serve garnished with slices of green peper and lemon rinds.
