Ingredients
  • Pie Crust- 9 or 10 inch for large glass dishes
  • About 2 cups cooked chciken
  • Cooked carrots,peas, onion (minced)
  • White Sauce:
  • 6 Tbsp Margerine/Butter
  • 6 Tbsp Flour
  • 3 Cups Milk
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper

Directions
  1. Cook chicken and allow to cool
  2. Use chicken stock to cook vegetables
  3. Prepare whit sauce: Melt margerine; saute onion
  4. Remove from heat and blend in flour until smooth
  5. Gradually add in milk
  6. Cover over med heat until sauce thickens and comes to a boil
  7. Add spices
  8. Reduce heat; simmer 2-3 minutes to remove flour taste
  9. *Bake 425 degrees for 30 minutes
  10. Then an addition 5 minutes on bottom rack
  11. Mix with white sauce and pour into pie crust.
  12. Top with crust and seal edges; pierce edges
