Hawaiian Chicken

- 1- 1/2 to 2 pounds of boneless chicken breasts shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 fresh pineapple or 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks shopping list
- 1 green bell pepper shopping list
- 1 red bell pepper shopping list
- 1 medium onion shopping list
- 2 ripe peaches shopping list
- 1/2 to 1 cup brown sugar, according to taste shopping list
- 2 cups orange juice shopping list
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce shopping list
- dash of soy sauce shopping list
How to make it
- cut chicken breasts in 1 inch cubes and brown in butter, turn into an 8x11x2 inch baking dish, peel the fresh pineapple and cut into 1 inch cubes , if using canned drain unsweetened pineapple can be used.
- scatter the pineapple over the chicken, slice the peppers in rings and arrange over chicken and pineapple.set aside......using the food processor, or chop by hand, the onion until it is finely chopped, set aside, in the same workbowl, puree the peeled peaches with the sugar. add the other ingredients, including the onion, mix well,
- pour the sauce over the chicken,peppers and pineapple.
- bake uncovered for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 375 degrees
